For many, gaucho means orphan. Its origin comes from two civilizations (European and Indigenous). Perhaps the first gauchos broke their ties from the past and went on to the solitude of the great Pampa where there was enough water and grass for their herds that had arrived from European colonies. Only an hour an hour away from the City of Buenos Aires, the traveler can observe Argentine country tasks, a gaucho's life and his amazing ability with "boleadoras" (three stones tied by a cord that when thrown, gets entangled in the paws and head), the knife, the knot and the different techniques used to salt the best meat in the world.

A gaucho dresses in baggy pants with a hat or beret and a handkerchief tied around his neck with spurs and a knife sharpened around his waist. During celebrations he changes the belt for a silver coin belt. He rides easily around country houses and grasslands with only the light of a blaze and a delicious grilled barbecue, accompanied by his humor and songs. The typical gaucho accessories are made of silver or German nickel as in the gaucho knives, mates (typical Argentine drink) with a metal straw and marks.
