The Pampean region is full of country houses that are used as select petite hotels.

There are many typical Argentine country activities: trapping and livestock activities, horse breaking, animal branding… A full day includes a typical grilled Argentine barbecue, where the visitor enjoys a wide variety of sports and complementary recreation (horse riding, polo, golf, hunting, fishing and wildlife observation).

The Pampean plain is one of the richest zones in Argentine and offers the magic of a vast space with wide horizons. It is the land of the gauchos, mounted horsemen and traditions. The Pampean country houses in Argentina are known for their varied architecture. They were built following such varied styles as Colonial Hispanic-American, English Tudors or the classic French homes. Many of them have been adapted to be used as accommodations for tourism. Is the Pampa the name of an indigenous tribe that inhabited these unending prairies or was it the name of a man who got it from the Pampa ?

The answers vary. Some speculate that what Pampa real meaning comes from the Quechua language, meaning "satin field." And that's how it is: flat. The Pampa is full of plantations and small towns with brick houses dating back to the XIX century.

For many, gaucho means orphan. Its origin comes from two civilizations (European and Indigenous). Perhaps the first gauchos broke their ties from the past and went on to the solitude of the great Pampa where there was enough water and grass for their herds that had arrived from European colonies. Only an hour an hour away from the City of Buenos Aires, the traveler can observe Argentine country tasks, a gaucho's life and his amazing ability with "boleadoras" (three stones tied by a cord that when thrown, gets entangled in the paws and head), the knife, the knot and the different techniques used to salt the best meat in the world.
A gaucho dresses in baggy pants with a hat or beret and a handkerchief tied around his neck with spurs and a knife sharpened around his waist. During celebrations he changes the belt for a silver coin belt. He rides easily around country houses and grasslands with only the light of a blaze and a delicious grilled barbecue, accompanied by his humor and songs. The typical gaucho accessories are made of silver or German nickel as in the gaucho knives, mates (typical Argentine drink) with a metal straw and marks.
