Palermo
Located in the Palermo neighborhood, on Libertador Avenue , is a park with more than 80 hectares of forest and leafy trees, beautiful sculptures, hidden paths and perfumed gardens and mirrored fountains. The design remained in the hands of the architect and landscaper Carlos Thays, inaugurating it in November of 1875. This park, known as the Palermo Forests, is one of the biggest green spaces of the City. There are two artificial lakes surrounded by vegetation, with birds and aquatic plants. It can enjoyed with paddleboats or water bicycles.
3 de Febrero Park offers several subspaces, like the Jardín de los Poetas , combining the sculptures of many artists; the Patio Andaluz , covered by tree foliage; and the Jardín de las Rosas -known as El Rosedal - with 15,000 rosebushes from 1189 different species.
Every day from the door of the Zoo facing Plaza Italia you can observe mateos , horse carriage rides, offering journeys around the Palermo forests.

Zoo Garden
Almost two million people come to this picturesque walk through the magnificent pavilions that harbor a wide variety of animals, whose architectural style maintains a direct relationship with the precedence of the same. This park was inaugurated at the beginning of the century and restructured and reconditioned to the level of the main zoos in Latin America.

Costanera Sur
The Parque Natural Costanera Sur is the ideal place to enjoy contact with nature. Located in front of the Ecological Reserve, this century-old nostalgic tree boulevard goes on for almost 20 blocks, from the rotonda of Avenida Espana, en Dársena Sur, to the Argentine Yacht Club at the extreme south of Dársena Norte. In the middle of the rotunda we come to the fuente de las Nereidas , a work from the Argentine sculptor Lola Mora .
In 1930, the costanera served as a city spa; today it is perfect for sunbathing, bicycle riding or rollerblading, playing soccer or sightseeing. With wide sidewalks and large extensions of green space, this park offers a viewpoint from which one can see the South Coast Ecological Reserve.

Ecological Reserve
It is a green space of 360 hectares with unique characteristics within the city. It is located near the financial and administrative center, the south coast of the Rio de la Plata . Its lands were overtaken by the river and artificially filled, but with the years the vegetation grew spontaneously on the riverside as well as the fauna characteristic in lagoons and Pampean waters. The area was declared a Natural Park and Reserve Area. Interpretative visits and walks in the open air, bicycling or simply sitting to listen to the sound of nature in action. Many of the Argentine migratory birds linger and nest in its pastures, riverbeds and lagoons.

| | Botanic Garden
Inaugurated in 1908, it was planned and designed by the French landscaper Carlos Thays, to facilitate university research and classify botanic nomenclature. In its eight hectares there are more than 5000 specifies from all over the world. The garden represents three styles: Symmetric - inspired by the French, the Landscaper - the English touch and Mixed. The Argentine flora was given the place of honor, with species characteristic of each province. The other sections are designated to samples from each continent.
Other interesting points to discover are the Jardín Romano, with a bronze replica of the sculptor Loba Romana, the Great Invernadero, a new art style, rewarded in Paris in 1899, where it was transported to its current location and the Botanic Garden. The numerous park structures belong to recognized national artists. Original or duplicated, those bronzes and marble installed in the freshness of the fountains, or with a magic green vegetation, make up one of the most aesthetic city walkways.

Japanese Garden
One of the largest Japanese gardens in the world, located in the Tres de Febrero Park was created in 1967 as gratitude for the Japanese community residing in Argentina . Ten years later, the landscaper Yasuo Inomata redesigned it, taking into account the Zen gardens that hold the key to accessing the temples. It is a walk that recreates beauty and Oriental Japanese poetry. Plants, flowers, bridges and waterfalls combine in subtle and pleasing corners, creating an atmosphere of colors and perfumes.
The land extension is almost two hectares. Inside there is an artificial lake occupying 70 percent of the place and offers several bridges and islands. The main one is the Isla de los Dioses, the one gaining access through the curved bridge or Puente de la Buena Ventura . The flora of the place is made up of 150 species, many of which were brought from Japan .
