The access route
to Tigre is the
Avenida de las Naciones Unidas
( United Nations Avenue ) through which
you can get to the city center where both
a boat and train station can be found. Special
boats depart from Tigre and sail through
the islands. The Paseo Victorica
(Victorica Promenade) faces the coast of
the Luján River and offers beautiful
riverside views of the Delta.
This landscape combines streets and city shops with natural spots. You can visit the Tigre Club (social, fun and tourist center) and the Museo Naval de la Nación ( National Navy Museum ) where nautical instruments and old weapons are shown. Other special spot is the Puerto de Frutos (Fruit Dock) offering a wide variety of fruits and vegetables from the Delta and also artisan objects made of wood and willow. Cozy hostels, touristic complexes and clubs combine themselves to create this beautiful riverside area. |
